On Saturday 31st January 2025 Mossley Mill will host the first ever championship contest featuring South Belfast native Colm “The Posh Boy” Murphy 15-0 the Celtic, Irish, Commonwealth Silver and European Boxing Union Silver featherweight champion when he challenges for the full vacant Commonwealth featherweight title against an opponent yet to be named.

Carnmoney former amateur star and local favourite Kyle Smith returns as “Co Main” to the venue that saw him emphatically win his second professional contest in the first round of a scheduled six against the tough Paul Cummings from England.

The remainder of the card once again sees the return to action of local favourites in Hijjah McMahon – Belfast, Gerard Hughes – Ballycastle & Carlos Pereira – Ballymena. “
